Areas we serve
Dentist in Landsdale
A short drive north from Landsdale, with appointments booked so a family can come through in one visit rather than three.
Landsdale is a family suburb, and family suburbs generate a particular kind of dental problem: four people who all need seeing, and one adult holding the diary that has to accommodate it. Split across three afternoons, that is how check-ups quietly stop happening.
We book families in consecutive slots instead. Everyone is seen, everyone is out, and the adult who organised it loses one afternoon rather than three.
Doing it that way has a second benefit that only shows up years later. One practice ends up holding the whole family's history, so when a child's adult teeth come through crooked we still have the photographs from when the baby teeth were in. That is a better starting point than a first impression.

Questions we get from Landsdale
- At what age should a child first see a dentist?
- Around the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. That first visit is a look and a chat rather than treatment, and it is mostly there to make the next twenty visits unremarkable.
- Do you claim the Child Dental Benefits Schedule?
- Yes, for eligible children. Bring your Medicare card and we will check eligibility at reception before anything starts, so there is no surprise at the end.
- Can you book us all in together?
- Yes. Say how many of you there are when you ring and we will put you in consecutive slots on the same visit.
- How many appointments can you run back to back?
- Reception will hold consecutive slots for a family in one phone call, and in practice three or four in a row is straightforward if you book with a bit of notice. It is much easier to reserve adjacent times up front than to move them together afterwards.
- Do children need to be seen as often as adults?
- Usually six months, same as an adult, and occasionally more often through the years when adult molars are arriving and the grooves in them are deep. The interval comes out of the examination rather than off a chart — if a child is genuinely low risk you will be told so.
- What if one child needs treatment and the others do not?
- Then the others are done and out, and only the one comes back. We will tell you at the appointment what is needed and roughly how long it will take, so you can book the follow-up around school rather than guess.
